FULL STAY

       One day at Te Waiora covers a 24hr period.
           It usually involves three meals and a nights accomodation.
   
           Cost:   As from 1st April this cost will increase to $70 per 24hr period.
                       This includes all meals, morning and afternoon teas.
                        $60 per person for a couple.
           Visitors: Guests may invite visitors for the evening meal at an extra cost of $15 per person.

           Payment Options: A guest may pay for their stay either by:

 
• personal payment: cash or cheque.
     Sorry no eftpos or credit card facilities. Nearest ATM is in Darfield.
• Carer Support - MOH or DHB  
• Other funding options include applying to Trusts or Community Organisations for grants.
• One possibility is the Hyman Marks Trust. 
Enquiries and applications must be made by a professional eg. Social worker, counsellor, doctor or minister on behalf of the guest prior to stay.

The Trust meets weekly.
       APPLICATIONS:
  
       Once we receive a completed application
       form, we can accept bookings.
       Normally you will not wait too long for a
       booking, however on occasion there may
       be a short waiting period of up to one or
       two weeks.

       Te Waiora is not for emergency care.
       However there are occasions when an urgent
       need is considered.





DAY RETREATS and DAY VISITORS

Groups are welcome to visit Te Waiora for a day trip.
Bring your lunch and enjoy a picnic under the trees. (inside if wet!)

     A full day Retreat or a Group Visit,
including lunch, morning and afternoon tea    
= $20 per person.

If you prefer to bring own lunch the
cost would be $10 per person
(we provide tea, coffee and biscuits for morning and afternoon tea)

An Evening Meal could be included by arrangement.

We are able to cater for
MORNING or AFTERNOON TEA FOR GROUPS 
by arrangement

You may wish to take time out and stay for
a few days, or you may use the venue for
a Day Retreat. 

You may be interested in bringing a group
for the day or just having some time out
on your own.
